Re Food Kuwait- Food Donation

The girls and I volunteered on Saturday with refood Kuwait in Andalous co-op. The girls had volunteered before and due to my six day work schedule I took off early to volunteer with them. We drove to Andalous co-op where the people were already gathered waiting for the donations. We entered the back of the co-op where the donated items were stored. The donated items were oil, soaps, chocolates, juice, popcorn and a few other things. We did run out of items toward the end so the family donations were smaller towards the end.

Some of the hundreds of people waiting in the heat
Most of the people were from Syria, bedoon and Indians. It really got to me seeing the people waiting in the heat with their children for 3 hours for some small bags of food. I'm hoping the program will expand and more donations can be found to help out more families. You can find more information on their IG @refoodkw and their website.
