Car crash in Kuwait

We watched as a car in front of us hit the cement divider then got back in the lane only to suddenly veer off to the right and hit a water tanker. I pulled over to check on him and he was shaking, and losing consciousness. A Kuwaiti guy who pulled over said he was on drugs. We called the police and after 15 minutes they showed up with the ambulance coming 10 minutes later. They woke the guy up, he got out of the car and was arrested.

The Ceramic House- Bait Al Ghaith (Al Ghaith House)

While exploring Salmiya areas and after visiting one of the museums (later post) I saw some lights on in the Al Ghaith house which is one of the few remaining original Kuwaiti houses left in the area. Before all of the malls and shops the area was full of old Kuwaiti houses along the sea full of alleys and simplicity. I saw a sign out front "The Ceramic House" so I stepped inside to try and find some information but no one was around.

It looks like some kind of ceramic classes take place as I saw some unfinished pieces along with a kiln which I remember from high school ceramic classes

I really like the fact that they are reusing the house for the public so that it doesn't just sit and go to waste. The house is located on the opposite of Sharq Mall. You can find more information on Ghaith house here.

Bazaar Turkish Market/Restaurant- Arabella

TGIF has been replaced with a new market/restaurant named Bazaar, I'm assuming it's Turkish? Inside is a deli with meats and cheeses, an oven for baked goods and tables to enjoy your food.
The Turkish ice cream carts which are always entertaining and require patience

I didn't find any information or links to their website so you will have take check it out next time you visit Arabella.

Avenues New Phase is Open

Yesterday at 12 pm the new phase of Avenues opened and it is just beautiful, my favorite area is the Forum, it is so light and airy, it makes you feel like your not in Kuwait.

The new Starbucks
 The new Souk addition

The technical area full of lights
So much to see, there are only a few shops and restaurants opened but it's a good place for walking, you will definitely sleep well after a day in The Avenues!

Sealine Qatar

During my last visit I had to take a trip to Sealine after I saw amazing videos. A friend took us to the area where we had lunch, kabsa to die for. Afterwards we stopped to ride a camel and take a look at the little businesses along the road.

I found this RV turned into a men's salon

The drive along the water was amazing
You can rent buggies and spend the day at various camps that are set up for visitors. I highly recommend it when visiting Qatar.

Bowl Station Fahaheel

If you're looking for a small place to bowl there's a new bowling alley in Yall Mall upstairs. It has six lanes, a place to by bowling balls, a pool table and a couple of pin ball machines. There's going to be a gaming area opening soon.

They have a weekly special from Sunday to Wednesday from 11:30 am to 5 pm you can bowl for 1.500 per game. Don't try to take pictures if your not bowling, I almost got kicked out and was asked to delete the photos because the owning company is scared someone will copy them or whatever the guy told me.

511 Tactical Kuwait Location

My new job requires the employees to wear tactical pants and I don't know my size to order online so we took a trip to 511 Tactical store in Al Rai. The store is loaded with all kinds of clothing, shoes, a fake horse and some buggies.

Of course the prices are high as it always seems like they take the US dollar amount and put into KD of the same amount which in reality is 3 times as much. But if your looking for some tactical wear and can't order online then take a trip to Al Rai, you can find more on their IG @5.11kuwait_tactical
