Youm Al Bahar- The sailor's day heritage Village Part 1

I finally took the time to stop by this heritage village area by the sea. It was sooo hot that day so I took a few pictures of the buildings and went back the following weekend to check out the shops inside. It's such a neat place to visit and I will bring my family once it cools down.

Old school rides for kids

The Ministry could really make this place great with a little publicity and some groundskeeper to clean up the exterior. I would suggest having some Kuwaiti folk song groups perform there on weekends to bring in people. There will be more posts with pictures of the shops coming up.....

Signor Sassi Ramadan Buffet

We were invited by Signor Sassi to try their Ramadan buffet and give them feedback on it. This was the first time I had been to the restaurant although I've heard good things about it already. The buffet included salad items, meat, chicken and seafood dishes. There's fresh Italian pasta dishes made to order and the desserts were a great end to the dinner.

This is a giant salmon baked in a sea salt casing.
The dessert table, I loved the apple tart.

A few drinks from the bar.

My sister ordered the fresh pasta.
To the left is the pasta area where you can order it to your liking choosing from a wide variety of sauces and spices.
Thanks to Bassam from Americana and Mr. Stefano, the restaurant manager (loved the Italian accent!) the buffet will be available for Ramadan only and I was told it would be around 10 KD or less, the price was still being negotiated.

Kuwaiti Rolls Royce towed in London

First it was the Qatari Lambo and now a Kuwaiti vehicle gets towed in London. With the outrageous display of fancy cars no wonder everyone in the world thinks all Gulf guys are loaded which is not true at all. (link)
