Since I needed boxes to move and didn't feel like driving to Qurain I decided to check out the new Lu & Lu Hypermarket located in Egaila Sama Mall. There are very few shops open and I don't think the main mall is open either.
It's a nice clean well lit Lu & Lu with nice areas for the butcher and bakers. I will be giving this one a try as it is much closer to my apartment.
Thanks CiK for the news about the very new branch of LuLu. I'd like to give this little info about this HM name; There used to be a name registering conflict couple of years ago, forced LuLu to be renamed to Lu & Lu. Long story, but now that conflict is over & officially the HM chain has the name LuLu back again, even can be seen now on their signage.
This Lu&Lu in particular just doesn't catch my attention than the ones in Qurain or Salmiya (next to Marina Mall). Probably because of the placement? idk. But definitely clean.
The area will gradually become more congested as the mall opens but for now it's a nice one and the bakery and butcher areas look better than the ones in Qurain. I am so used to the Qurain locating having memorized the areas I need to go straight to. This one had me confused and wandering all around.

Great info! LuLu sounds much better than Lu & Lu honestly.....
